Star Tell Me Pastor

Black and white boyfriend
Dear Pastor,

I have a little problem that I would like you to help me with. I have two boyfriends, one is white and the other is black. I went to England to spend vacation with my sister and this white man is a friend of my sister's husband, and he invited me out and we fell in love with each other. He did not want me to come back to Jamaica but I told him that I must, because I am living with my babyfather and he is expecting me back. This man took me everywhere and introduced me to his friends as his girlfriend.

My brother-in-law told me that he is a good man and he is looking for a wife because he and his wife are divorced. He also likes black women. He was always telling me how my skin is pretty. I came back to Jamaica but he is still sending me money. I cannot let my boyfriend out here know. I love my babyfather but I am not working. And he is only a security guard and we are struggling. My babyfather tries but my boyfriend in England is in a better position. Please Pastor, I am asking for your opinion.

R.S., Manchester, Jamaica

Dear R.S.,

I suggest that you stay with your struggling man in Jamaica. Do not allow the white man and his pounds to fool you and to turn you into an idiot. Yes, he might be in a position to give you much more than what your child's father would be able to give you, but your child's father has not done you any wrong. You know that he has been trying to support you and the child.

Tell the guy in England that you are going to stay with your man in Jamaica. Never allow greed to get the better of you. You say you love the two men. I believe what you are trying to say is that you love the Jamaican man because he is a good man and he is your child's father. You love the white man because of the money he can give to you. Remember the Bible says that the love of money is the root of all evil.

Work with your Jamaican man. Right now, the grass look greener with the English man, but you never know when he may get tired of you and dump you.
