Nail technician beaten by woman

The man considered to be a well known homosexual who plies his trade as a nail technician in downtown Kingston was once again beaten, this time by a woman, and had to be rescued by the police.

The STAR was informed of the incident by police sources.

The STARwas also made aware that the man had to be hospitalised to receive treatment for injuries he received from the altercation with the woman.

A senior-ranked police officer who had assisted the man to hospital, told the STAR that he had received a chop in the centre of his forehead.

He was apparently treated and released later the same day.

At the same time, the STARwas told that the man might have been attacked by the woman for one of two reasons which are rumours at this point in time.

It is believed that he was attacked as he was accused of 'stealing' customers from other nail technicians. It is rumoured that the woman might have become jealous as the man is better at shaving eyebrows and eyelashes, therefore more customers gravitate to him instead of others.

Another assumption is that he was attacked after the woman labelled him as the person who was accused of molesting a young boy at least a week ago.

When The STAR visited downtown yesterday to seek answers, several women who work close by to the man's known work area said that they were unaware of the incident.

One woman said "me never know seh him get beat up again", while another asked, "how him can tek beat up so?"

One man joked that "him strong ... if a you,the first lick yuh get, you dead" which amused the other women to whom The STARspoke.

According to police reports, after the incident had occurred, the man had made a report to the police and had accompanied them back to the location where he was attacked to identify the woman, however, the woman was absent when the police arrived.

Only days ago, the STAR had received unconfirmed reports that the said man had been accused of 'fondling' a little boy and had been beaten on that occasion also by an angry mob.

Furthermore,on the day of the prior incident, the man had been arrested and charged for indecent exposure after he stripped himself upon being approached by a police team.
