Lady Saw does it her way on new album |

Lady Saw's latest album 'My Way' - Contributed Album: My Way Artiste: Lady Saw Genre: Dancehall Rating: 3 out of 5 stars It's a confident Lady Saw that makes her debut independently on her latest studio album 'My Way.' Known as the Queen of the Dancehall, Saw who's real name is Marion Hall, has long been a raunchy, in-control female in the business, as seen in her lyrics and stage presence. My Way, her first album since 2007's Walk Out, her last effort with VP Records, shows the artiste's versatility and that at 40 she's as in control and on top of her game as when she was in her prime. A sixteen-track album, My Way starts off with the fun self-praising Every Way Mi Go, In the title track My Way, Lady Saw shows that she still embraces her sexuality as she talks about still keeping her sex life interesting, doing it 'her way, on the highway'. The fun club song Party Till December is the first single released, Me Hold Yuh a female counteraction to Gyptian's hit song Hold Yuh is also a highly sexual song. Other than party songs and 'cussin' songs, Saw slows it down with songs like I'm A Woman which starts off with a jazz vibe, as she talks about being treated like a queen. My Way has its hits and misses, but overall, shows Lady Saw in her element continuing to broaden her horizons and do her music her way.
